Simple solid-state design consisting primarily of semiconductor material sandwiched between ceramic plates.
NOTE: You should never use this device without sufficient thermal cooling (heatsink, fan etc). Operating the it without additional cooling for more than a few seconds will damage the device. Hobby Components cannot replace devices that have been damaged in this way.
