In the real world, depending on the capacitance to charge, this process may take hours or days for the initial charge. Providing the surrounding environment has enough source of vibrations, the bimorph will just keep on working and generating energy recovered by the electronics and top up the capacitor. The clever bit is then to only use the available stored energy to power a wireless module or any other useful circuitry. I hope this video helps trigger ideas for useful applications…
