How To Fix Or Prevent Stalling, Surging Or Rough Idle, Cleaning Throttle Body and MAF Sensor

How To Fix Or Prevent Stalling, Surging Or Rough Idle On Your Car. How to clean a throttle body. How to clean a MAF sensor. Cleaning The Throttle Body and MAF Sensor.
This is how I solved the rough idle and stalling problem on my Mazda 6 2.0 easily at home with basic tools. The principals are the same for nearly all modern fuel injected cars and will solve problems in 95% of cars including excessive fuel consumption.
The tools I used were an 8mm socket and socket wrench, a cross head screwdriver and a pair of pliers and the whole job took about an hour to complete.
You will need to run the car for about 100 miles after this is done to allow the ECU to reset its self to the new readings it is getting from the now clean components.
This works with virtually any fuel injected car as the throttle body and MAF valve or Mass Airflow, Air Flow Sensor are the main components that control fueling in a modern car.
This procedure will normally solve stalling, rough running, surging and rough unsteady idle and also improve economy and excessive fuel consumption problems.
all makes of vehicle will benefit from this including Mazda, Ford, Audi, Vauxhall, Mercedes, Mini, Toyota, Fiat, Nissan, BMW, Peugeot, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Citreon, Honda, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia, Landrover, Mitsubishi, Renault, Suzuki, Volvo, Dodge, Holden, Subaru, and many more.
