This is 1 of the common issues with a Honda. Its called the FITV (Fast idle thermal valve) Its a simple little thing like this that can cause a lot of idle issues, Such as, Idle bouncing around, Idle surge, It can also cause a high idle. Its a simple little fix and could save you alot of money in the long haul. I clean my out every so often just to be sure it’s still functioning properly.
