I wanted an incubator to hatch chicks in my class and found that a unit with fan, thermostat, and an automatic egg turner would put me back a minimum of $120, and that’s for a simple styrofoam unit! I decided to make one with these features and was able to do so for less than half the cost. Here’s what I came up with.
