The environmental conditions should be maintained in appropriate level to obtain maximum yield from the crop. Traditionally, farmers are using manual processes to maintain better conditions for their crop. These processes are consuming more time and man power. Because of that automated conditions control system is proposed to maximize the yield by maintaining best conditions for the crop.
By implementing this project the environmental conditions can be controlled automatically inside of the greenhouse to provide a superior growing environment for the specific plant species. The various data about the growing environment are measured by sensors, transmit as inputs to the Arduino and process these data to start functioning of the output component such as heating fan, cooling fan, and electric solenoid valve etc.
This system is capable to controlling temperature, humidity and soil moisture level and soil temperature level automatically to the standard level. Arduino board can be used to process the data and transfer to computer for visualizing purpose. The current situation of the conditions is automatically storing in the Microsoft Excel worksheet by using PLX-DAQ software.
This automated greenhouse is best solution to people who are interested for domestic cultivation, Green house cultivation and farmers who are more considerable for the time with the fertile yield from their crop.
