Your vehicle is equipped with a unique Integrated Control System (I-CON), exclusive to this vehicle, which allows you to change driving characteristics based on road conditions and your driving style, as well as monitor various vehicle electronic systems. Vehicle information is displayed in a monitor located here, on the center console. Vehicle functions are viewed on a series of screens. To access the various screens and adjust settings, you will use these command buttons and the dial to the right of the display.
With the ignition ON, press the DRIVE MODE button to activate all of the drive mode command buttons. If you press the CLIMATE button, the command button icons and functions will change to climate controls. Press the DRIVE MODE button again to change the command buttons back to Drive Mode.
With the Drive Mode System activated, you can use the command buttons to the left of the screen to select one of the following drive modes: Normal, Sport or ECO.
The “Normal” drive mode is best suited for regular, everyday driving. In “Sport” mode, the throttle response, CVT and steering points will adjust to enhance performance and the fuel economy may be reduced. In “ECO” mode, the engine and CVT, if so equipped, will adjust to enhance fuel economy and the accelerating power may be reduced. You can also set the Climate Control System to ECO mode to further enhance fuel economy.
The temperature can still be adjusted with the left hand knob while in drive mode.
When you press any of the drive mode buttons, a screen will appear with a list of four different systems in your vehicle and their status, including: Engine, Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) (if so equipped), Steering and Climate. The status of each system will vary according to the drive mode selected. In addition to the status list, each drive mode will display a gauge screen, providing further information to help the driver monitor driving performance. The “Normal” drive mode for example, will display a Torque gauge and a voltage meter, while the “Sport” mode displays a Boost gauge and the “ECO” mode provides a gauge that measures the ECO Level.
Press the SETUP button while in any drive mode to display a list of vehicle electronic systems you can monitor and adjust, including Display Brightness, Button Brightness, Select Language, Select Units, Clock Time Setting, Climate ECO, Automatic Interior Illumination, Selective Door Unlock and Automatic Headlight
Sensitivity, if so equipped. Use the dial to the right of the display to highlight items on the list and press ENTER in the center of the dial to select an item. When an item is selected, use the dial to adjust the feature to the preferred setting, then press ENTER to set and exit.
Press the DRIVE INFO button to display this screen, on which you will find the elapsed time, average speed and trip distance since the last reset. To reset all three features at once, press ENTER for more than one second. Press DRIVE INFO a second time to access the G-Force screen, which displays the Current Acceleration, Deceleration and Cornering G-Force on the vehicle.
The ECO INFO button allows you to monitor the fuel consumption record and adjust the intervals for tracking fuel consumption. You can set the fuel consumption record to reset on a daily or weekly basis, or every time the vehicle is turned ON. You can also choose to reset the fuel consumption record manually at your convenience. To reset any of the fuel consumption records, press the ENTER button for more than one second.
