The characteristic of Thermostatic Wax consists of its volume expansion amount can reach up to 13 ~ 15 % when it is heated from solid to liquid. We use this characteristic, when it is heated to a solid-liquid transformation, its’ heat energy can translate into mechanical energy. Thermostatic Wax has been widely applied to temperature auto regulation of thermal-driving and various thermal-starting devices.
For example, automobile thermostat has been most widely well known, it has cylindrical seal part that loads some Thermostatic Waxes inside. To realize automatic temperature control, it was designed by a special technical specification for the solid-liquid transformation of Thermostatic Wax. When the cylindrical part is heated, Thermostatic Wax in the part is also heated and making a solid-liquid transformation expansion, Thermostatic Wax pushes thermostat’s itself handspike to open the valve. When the cylindrical part gets cold, Thermostatic Wax also cooled and start to shrink, Thermostatic Wax pushes itself handspike back to original situation under the return load force to close up the valve to realize automatic temperature control.

WHAT IS AUTOMATIC ROOM LIGHT CONTROLLER WITH BIDIRECTIONAL VISITOR COUNTER?
Wastage of electricity is one of the main problems which we are facing now a days. In our home, school, colleges or industry we see that fan / lights are kept on even if there are nobody in the room or area / passage. This happens due to negligence or because we forgot to turn lights off or when we are in hurry. To avoid all such situations we have designed this project called “Automatic room light controller with bidirectional visitor counter”. This project has two modules, first one is known as “Bi-directional Visitor counter” and second module is known as “Automatic room light controller”. Main concept behind this project is known as “Visitor counter” which measures the number of persons entering in any room like seminar hall, conference room, classroom. This function is implemented using a pair of Infrared sensors. LCD display placed outside the room displays this value of person count. This person count will be incremented if somebody enters inside the room and at that time lights are turned on. And in reverse way, person count will be decremented if somebody leaves the room. When number of persons inside the room is zero, lights inside the room are turned off using a relay interface. In this way Relay does the operation of “Automatic room light controller”. Since this project uses 2 infrared sensors, it can be used as Bidirectional visitor counter as well.

3.5 Pacifica Upper Intake Air leak
This issue is very common on the 3.5 Pacificas. You will hear a hissing/whistle sound if you pop the hood. And your check engine light will go on as well, with possibly different codes, as system to lean and it could also affect the idle and such. And the issue with this is on the upper intake, bad news is that it cost around $2000 at the dealer, which is the only place you may find it, and at a junk yard around $700, which I would not recommend considering it is a very common problem it may happen to you again. We came up with a solution, the video explains what we did, sorry if video is a little confusing, didn’t take much time to think over what I was going to say, haha.
