Newly Arrival TU-1A93 thermal wax actuator for thermostatic automatic water drain valve Supply to Oslo Detail:
1. Operation Principle
The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. The return of handspike is accomplished by negative load in a given returned temperature.
2. Characteristic
(1)Small body size, occupied limited space, and its size and structure may be designed in according to the location where needs to work.
(2)Temperature control is reliable and nicety
(3)No shaking and tranquilization in working condition.
(4)The element doesn’t need special maintenance.
(5)Working life is long.
3.Main Technical Parameters
(1)Handspike’s height may be confirmed by drawing and technical parameters
(2)Handspike movement is relatives to the temperature range of the element, and the effective distance range is from 1.5mm to 20 mm.
(3)Temperature control range of thermal wax actuator is between –20 ~ 230℃.
(4)Lag phenomenon is generally 1 ~ 2℃. Friction of each component part and lag of the component part temperature cause a lag phenomenon. Because there is a difference between up and down curve of traveling distance.
(5)Loading force of thermal wax actuator is difference, it depends on its’ shell size.

There was a P0128 code triggered pcm. The vehicle was running fine but the temperature gauge in the dash was not operating. The fans were on high in the front of the vehicle and seemed to kick on immediately as soon as the car was started. This lead me to believe that the coolant temperature sensor was bad and not the thermostat because it controls the temp gauge in the dash.
A 19mm wrench was used to remove and install the sensor. Once the replacement temp sensor was installed more coolant was added to the vehicle before starting it. It took about a minute or so for the new sensor to be recognized and the fan then turned off on it’s own.

First time power up and test of my Arduino controlled can cooler.
The Cooler Uses 4 Peltier Modules, A custom machined cooling block and A custom water loop to remove the heat.
It has a 4.3″ Touchscreen Interface to select Temp and display Temps of the cooling block, Can, The hot side of the 4 Peltiers and Cooling Progress.
Cools a 330ml can from 19 to 1C in approx 10 minutes (Quicker if the block is already cool).
The cooler draws approx 360W (varies slightly with temperature variations).
This is just a test so there are a few bugs/ glitches in the programming in the video. Most have been fixed since recording.
All the components are mounted on my old Litecoin mining rig, Eventually i want to build the cooler into a PC case To provide better protection to the components and make the unit more portable.
The cooling block will reach Temps approx 30C cooler than room temperature with no thermal insulation around the block.
Thanks For Watching
