Factory directly provided TU-1C07 thermal wax actuator for air conditioner and compressor to Spain Factories Detail:
1. Operation Principle
The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. The return of handspike is accomplished by negative load in a given returned temperature.
2. Characteristic
(1)Small body size, occupied limited space, and its size and structure may be designed in according to the location where needs to work.
(2)Temperature control is reliable and nicety
(3)No shaking and tranquilization in working condition.
(4)The element doesn’t need special maintenance.
(5)Working life is long.
3.Main Technical Parameters
(1)Handspike’s height may be confirmed by drawing and technical parameters
(2)Handspike movement is relatives to the temperature range of the element, and the effective distance range is from 1.5mm to 20 mm.
(3)Temperature control range of thermal wax actuator is between –20 ~ 230℃.
(4)Lag phenomenon is generally 1 ~ 2℃. Friction of each component part and lag of the component part temperature cause a lag phenomenon. Because there is a difference between up and down curve of traveling distance.
(5)Loading force of thermal wax actuator is difference, it depends on its’ shell size.

Just a quick intro. Move videos to follow. Please see my playlist for the full series titled 1977 to 1993 Bosch C.I.S. Gas Fuel Injection. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLtRKk64pu2wp1txgW4sOqs7ErB2ilIRmt
A solution to this particular problem is covered in Kent’s on demand video available on his website : https://mercedessource.com/store/solving-rough-idle-and-low-rpm-startup-a-1986-1993-cis-engine-demand-video
Common symptoms are rough running at startup and low idle speed. CIS was installed on the following models. You saw CIS injection on the 4, 6, and 8 cylinder engines that were installed in the 107 Chassis 450SL 450SLC 380SL 560SL 1977 to 1989, 116 chassis 450SE 450SEL 280SE 280SEL 6.9 1977 to 1980, 123 chassis 1977-1985 Models 230E 280E 280CE, 126 chassis 380SE 380SEL 500SEL 300SDL 420SEL 300SE, 300SEL 560SEL 380SEC and 560SEC 1981-1991, 201 Chassis 190E 1984 to 1993 and 124 Chassis 260E 300E 300TE 300CE 400E 500E 1986 to 1993, and the R129 chassis 300SL and 500SL 1990 to 1993. Only the models after 1985 would have these specific problems together.
