1. Operation Principle

These trucks have two engine temperature sensors. The one in this video is the one that the pcm uses for engine temperature. The other one is for the gauge in the dash.
The two sensors are not the same. This one is (ACD) part number 19187357. The OEM service information calls this the engine coolant temperature sensor.
