Reliable Supplier TU-021 thermostatic cartridge wax sensor for sanitary ware for Jamaica Manufacturer Detail:
1. Operation Principle
The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. The return of handspike is accomplished by negative load in a given returned temperature.
2. Characteristic
(1)Small body size, occupied limited space, and its size and structure may be designed in according to the location where needs to work.
(2)Temperature control is reliable and nicety
(3)No shaking and tranquilization in working condition.
(4)The element doesn’t need special maintenance.
(5)Working life is long.
3.Main Technical Parameters
(1)Handspike’s height may be confirmed by drawing and technical parameters
(2)Handspike movement is relatives to the temperature range of the element, and the effective distance range is from 1.5mm to 20 mm.
(3)Temperature control range of thermal wax actuator is between –20 ~ 230℃.
(4)Lag phenomenon is generally 1 ~ 2℃. Friction of each component part and lag of the component part temperature cause a lag phenomenon. Because there is a difference between up and down curve of traveling distance.
(5)Loading force of thermal wax actuator is difference, it depends on its’ shell size.

Conversion of the O Series Pneumatic Actuator from Fail Closed to Fail Open
In this video we will be converting an O Series Fail Closed pneumatic actuator to Fail Open.
First remove the indicator cap from the top of the actuator.
Please note that the slot in the shaft is perpendicular tho the actuator housing . Remove spring end caps.
This is the actuator with the end caps fully removed.
To remove the internal pistons, place a wrench on the actuator stem and rotate counterclockwise until the pistons can be pulled out. It is very important to note the orientation of the pistons as they come out of the actuators, since you will rotate them 180°
Here is a side view showing how the piston was removed and how it engaged the internal yoke. The bar on the piston (A) engages with the notch in the yoke(B).
The shaft needs to be rotated so the piston engages on the opposite side. Use a wrench to rotate the shaft counterclockwise approximately 90 degrees.
After the pistons are rotated 180 degrees , push them into the actuator to engage with the yoke.
Rotate the shaft counterclockwise until the pistons are pulled fully into the actuator housing. Note the slot on the shaft should now be parallel to the actuator housing.
Re-attach the spring end caps but be sure to match the tabbed o-ring to mate with the air port on the actuator housing
Tighten end caps.
Attach indicator cap
The actuator should rotate clockwise when air is applied. It should spring closed counter clockwise when air is removed.

This is the panel you’ll use to set the climate control system.
The Auto mode may be used all year round. To turn it ON, press this button for automatic cooling or dehumidified heating. The indicator light turns ON when the system is activated. It will automatically regulate and maintain fan speed, airflow and temperature in the cabin.
The AUTO function can be turned OFF by either changing the fan speed, or by pressing the DEFROSTER, MODE, or ON/OFF button.
To reactivate automatic control, press the AUTO button.
To turn the system OFF completely, press the ON/OFF button.
Your vehicle has separate temperature control knobs for the driver and front seat passenger. The driver’s temperature control will set the temperature for both driver and passenger, if the DUAL control is not activated. Turn the driver’s side control knob. You’ll see the temperature setting change on the monitor. Turn it to the left for cooler, or to the right for warmer air.
If you want to adjust the passenger side temperature independently from the driver’s side, press the DUAL button or turn the passenger’s side temperature control knob.
The DUAL control indicator light will then illuminate. Turn it to the left for cooler, or to the right for warmer air. To switch back to driver control, press the DUAL button again.
The MODE button provides a choice of airflow outlets. Press repeatedly to cycle through these choices:
● Air flows from the center and side vents
● Air flows from center and side vents, and foot outlets
● Air flows mainly from foot outlets,
● Air flows mainly from the defroster and foot outlets Press the A/C button to turn the air conditioning ON or OFF.
In hot or humid conditions, a visible mist may be seen coming from the vents. This does not indicate a malfunction.
To recirculate air inside your vehicle, press this AIR RECIRCULATION button, its indicator will light up. This helps A/C efficiency and helps block outside odors from entering the cabin. Be aware that the Air Recirculation feature does not function when the front defroster setting is selected. Press the FRESH AIR INTAKE button to allow outside air to be drawn into your vehicle. Allowing outside air to enter the vehicle improves defogging performance.
This button operates the fan speed.
Push this button to increase fan speed and this one to decrease fan speed.
When you manually change fan speeds, it turns off the automatic climate control mode. To return to automatic climate control, press the AUTO button.
To defrost or defog the front and side windows, press the DEFROSTER button. The indicator light will illuminate. Air flow will be directed to the front and side windows. The indicator light on the A/C button may also illuminate because the A/C compressor is activated to help dry the air and improve window clearing performance. The air can still be fully warmed with the A/C activated.
If activated, the air recirculate mode will turn off automatically. Allowing outside air to be drawn into the passenger compartment to further improve the defogging and deicing performance.
If your vehicle happens to be in Dual mode, turning ON the defroster will revert to driver control, so both sides of the windshield will defrost evenly. Turn the driver’s side temperature to a setting that will best meet weather conditions.
For windshield deicing, your temperature selector should be turned to maximum heat and turn the fan speed to high.
As soon as possible after the windshield is cleared, press the AUTO button to return to AUTO mode. The system will return to your previous settings. Pressing the defroster button for a second time will also revert to auto mode.
To defrost or defog the rear window and, if so equipped, the outside mirrors, push the REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER switch. The indicator light will illuminate. After defrosting, push to turn OFF. If not turned OFF manually, this feature will automatically deactivate in a period of time.
There is a temperature sensor located on the top of the dashboard near the windshield that helps regulate the automatic climate control settings. Please keep this area clear of papers and other materials.
Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations and additional operating information.
