Factory best selling TU-1F93 thermal wax actuator for thermostatic automatic water drain valve to New Zealand Factories Detail:
1. Operation Principle
The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. The return of handspike is accomplished by negative load in a given returned temperature.
2. Characteristic
(1)Small body size, occupied limited space, and its size and structure may be designed in according to the location where needs to work.
(2)Temperature control is reliable and nicety
(3)No shaking and tranquilization in working condition.
(4)The element doesn’t need special maintenance.
(5)Working life is long.
3.Main Technical Parameters
(1)Handspike’s height may be confirmed by drawing and technical parameters
(2)Handspike movement is relatives to the temperature range of the element, and the effective distance range is from 1.5mm to 20 mm.
(3)Temperature control range of thermal wax actuator is between –20 ~ 230℃.
(4)Lag phenomenon is generally 1 ~ 2℃. Friction of each component part and lag of the component part temperature cause a lag phenomenon. Because there is a difference between up and down curve of traveling distance.
(5)Loading force of thermal wax actuator is difference, it depends on its’ shell size.

What if I broke a water heater? The heater does not heat the water? How to check the heater? How to repair the water heater thermostat is not folding their hands at home?
1) Pull out the plug from the socket.
2) Remove the protective cover with a button.
3) Disconnect the thermostat terminals.
4) Remove the thermostat.
5) If you know the power of your heating element, it is possible to directly measure up its resistance. If not, will loosen and view features on the inner surface.
Resistance can be calculated using the formula:
R = U² / P, Ohm,
where U – voltage power supply (I 220);
P – power heater (1200 W I);
R = 220² / 1,200 = 40.33 ohms.
Align the multimeter to resistance measurement mode in the range of 200-2000 Ohms (my multimeter minimum limit of the measuring 2,000 ohms).
If the instrument will show a value close to the calculated, the heater is OK. In all other cases, be replaced.
To check the thermostat should be set the multimeter to continuity test mode and check the contact between each pair of terminals. If the beeps, then everything is in order. If not, then most likely it is a break contact. Turn the knob counter-clockwise and check again. Still not contact? Then the problem thermostat. Chances are oxidised, or, as in my case, the contact “rocker” become attached to the plastic.
To disassemble the thermostat is necessary to pull up the knob and then unscrew it, then drill out rivets. Slowly disconnect the 2 halves. The smallest detail – a spring. Watch out for it! If the pad is in the top position, try to click on it, it should come back. Then only need to clean the contacts.
ATTENTION!!!
In my case it was necessary to enclose a piece of adhesive tape. In my opinion it was the easiest and most affordable option. Perhaps you could apply a thin layer of hot glue. THIS IS ONLY MY EXPERIENCE AND DO NOT RECOMMEND DO AS I DO !!!
To assemble the need to find 2 screw and 2 nuts.
I share all that I am doing own hands at home. The channel you will see homemade, crafts, repair of equipment, experiments, tests, unpacking and review products from China (Aliexpress), various household manual. I also will share my inventions and interesting ideas to improve and simplify the life (life hacking).

If your vehicle is not equipped with the Navigation System, please see your Owner’s Manual for information on the automatic climate controls for your vehicle.
This is the panel you’ll use to set the climate control system. Press THIS button to turn the system ON. The indicator light will illuminate and the system will automatically regulate and maintain fan speed, air flow and temperature in the cabin. Use THESE buttons to set the desired temperature.
Using the climate control system to heat the cabin when outside temperature is below 32° uses more electricity and affects vehicle range more than when using the heater at a temperature above 32°.
You can override the settings of the automatic climate control system as needed. For example, you can use THESE buttons to adjust the fan speed up or down.
Press THIS button to change the air flow mode. Your choice is shown on the display. The airflow can be set to the:
● center and side vents,
● center and side vents, and foot outlets,
● mainly from foot outlets, and
● from the defroster and foot outlets.
Press THIS button to recirculate air inside your vehicle. The indicator light will illuminate. This increases A/C efficiency and helps block outside odors from entering the cabin. Press again to draw in fresh outside air. Please be aware that when a DEFROSTER air flow mode is selected, the air recirculation feature will not activate. Allowing outside air to enter the vehicle further improves defogging performance.
Press and hold the intake air control button to set the intake air control to automatic. The indicator light will blink twice.
Press THIS button to manually turn the air conditioner ON or OFF. In hot or humid conditions, a visible mist may be seen coming from the vents. This does not indicate a malfunction.
Press the HEAT button to manually turn the heater on or off. The indicator light illuminates when the heater is active. For dehumidified heating, both the HEAT and A/C buttons should be activated.
You can return to automatic control of the climate system at any time by pressing THIS button.
To defrost or defog front and side windows, press THIS button. The indicator light will illuminate and air flow will be directed to the front and side windows. Adjust the temperature to a setting that will best meet weather conditions. For windshield deicing, set the temperature to maximum heat. Also, using the manual fan control, set the fan speed to HIGH.
To defrost or defog the rear window and, if so equipped, the outside mirrors, press the REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER button. The indicator light will illuminate. After defrosting, press again to turn OFF. If not turned OFF manually, this feature will automatically turn off after a period of time.
There are temperature sensors that regulate the automatic climate control settings. Please keep these areas clear of papers and other materials.
To help reduce power consumption of the lithium-ion battery for heating or cooling the vehicle, you can set the climate control system to preheat or precool the vehicle while it is connected to the charger. The climate control timers can be set to a specific time for each day of the week, or set to run only on specific days.
To set the climate control timer:
● Press the ZERO EMISSION button on the control panel,
● Then touch CLIMATE CONTROL TIMER.
The current schedule for the timers will be displayed. Touch EDIT SCHEDULE to adjust the days and times. Touch THESE keys to enable or disable either of the two available timers. Touch a day of the week to activate or deactivate the timer for that day. Use THESE keys to adjust the time. When you have finished adjusting the times, touch SAVE.
From the timer schedule screen, touch TIMER WITH PRIORITY to adjust the priority of the climate control timer in relation to the overall charging of the vehicle. If you select CHARGING TIMER, the climate control timer will not be activated unless the charge level for the vehicle charging timer has been reached. If you select CLIMATE CONTROL TIMER, the climate control timer activates regardless of vehicle charge level.
THIS light on the heater and air conditioner controls illuminates when a climate control timer is set.
Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations and additional operating information.
