1. Operation Principle
The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The temperature control knob in my 2002 Nissan Sentra stopped working. The knob turned but the air coming out the vent was always hot. Much like the brakes on a bicycle, the knob controls a cable that slides within a shroud and moves a damper for the heater control.
